The 10 Most Iconic Morricone Film Scores

Updated: Jan 21, 2021

Ennio Morricone has composed hundreds of scores for film. So which ones are the best of the best?

Not long ago, I published an article in which I discussed a quote by legendary composer Ennio Morricone. In the article, I briefly mentioned how much I admire his music.

Today, I thought it might be a nice idea to highlight the top ten scores composed by the maestro.

Now, I will admit that it's probably a bit unrealistic to attempt to create a top ten list of Morricone scores. Being one of the most prolific composers in film history, I'm pretty much setting myself up for failure.

However, I enjoy a good challenge, so I'm willing to give this a shot. And of course, if there is any disagreement, the comments section exists for your constructive feedback.

As always, I won't comment on the individual music tracks. I will let the music speak for itself. Enjoy!

So, what do you think? Is there something that should have been included that wasn't? Let me know in the comments section...
