Equal Artist exists in order to inspire diversity in the creative arts community and to promote artists in diverse fields who have been marginalized or underrepresented. Historically, these underrepresented artists include people of color, women, and artists with disabilities. Therefore, Equal Artist functions as a resource for the extraordinary number of gifted creative artists who deserve the opportunity to be seen, heard, and recognized.
