One of my absolute favorite composers is Adolphus Hailstork. His music does everything music should do. It makes you feel, but it also makes you think.
A versatile composer, Dr. Hailstork has composed music in every compositional style and for every ensemble. His piano works are technical wonders, and at the same time, exceptionally moving. His choral works are both ominous and inspiring. His orchestral music is expressive and resonant.
If, for some reason, you aren't familiar with Dr. Hailstork's music, I would highly recommend checking it out immediately. Much of his music is available on YouTube. You can also access it directly at Adolphus Hailstork's Official Website.
